Following graduation from law school, Michael began working as a public defender with the Department of Public Advocacy. Prior to leaving the agency, he oversaw five counties and supervised nine attorneys. At the Department of Public Advocacy, he gained a tremendous amount of experience practicing criminal law. In the past couple of years, Michael worked for a firm in the Lexington area focusing on representing clients who had been catastrophically injured. Through that work, he was able to practice civil litigation in state and federal courts around the country.
